Who is Gobie?

Gobie Creative, L.L.C. is a design company based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin that offers creative marketing solutions for small and large businesses worldwide. We will fulfill your graphic design and communication needs with our several services such as Graphic Design, Web Design, Web Development, Custom Blog Integration, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Set-up and Web Hosting. It is our goal to provide you with effective marketing strategies and beautiful design while having fun in the process. We pride ourselves on our attentive, personal approach and imaginative problem solving skills in order to produce successful results. Gobie values its clients because without you, we wouldn't be able to do what we love.

Many people ask us, "Where did gobie come from?" Gobies are actually a non-native fish in the United States. Sara Holloway, the owner, used to go fishing with her dad on Lake Michigan and would catch them all the time. It always was a funny memory between both of them. A few years ago, her dad told her you should call the new company Gobie. He was joking about it, but Sara took it seriously and realized how perfect the name truly was for her new company.

About the Designer

Gobie Creative was founded in 2007 by Sara Holloway. Sara has been actively involved in the fine arts since 1990. She has received several awards for her work in drawing and painting. Her first piece she sold was in 1995. It was a multimedia composition using acrylic and graphite. It was sold to her high school for $75 and is now hanging in the Nathan Hale library. After she graduated, she realized her love of art. She continued to be an active member in the art community, but it wasn't enough. She realized in order to survive she needed to be a graphic designer, so she enrolled in classes. By 2005, she earned her Associate Degree in Graphic Design and became a full time Graphic Designer at The Pabst Theater. In 2007, Sara wanted to try out her own company and left The Pabst. She is now a freelance graphic designer, web designer and illustrator. When she's not staring at the computer, she's hanging out with her family, camping, biking and traveling.

About the Developer

Rodney J. Thomas has been involved in internet, and software development since the early nineties. As a design engineer he brings technical expertise to Gobie Creative by ensuring the right tools are used for the task at hand to provide customers with their desired results. Rodney takes care in understanding a customers' needs and prides himself in presenting data in clear understandable methods. In his spare time he spends time with family and friends watching movies, listening to music, entertaining and cooking.

About the Account Executive

Dionne Holloway has years of experience in contracting, operations management and customer service. He brings to Gobie the highest standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction. Dionne possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, and is an active member of the Wisconsin Air National Guard. When he's not meeting with clients, he volunteers with the Honor Guard and spends quality time with his family.
